Outstanding Project

YCH Architects was recently awarded an Outstanding Project Award from Learning By Design Magazine for our work at Hickory Ridge Elementary School. All awarded entries in the Fall 2022 edition were peer-reviewed by a jury of seven endorsed AIA-CAE, A4LE, and LBD education design professionals. All entries were scored on six submission criteria: Innovation, Community Needs, Interior Design, Sustainability, Functional Design, and Next Generation Learning. The jury comments about Hickory Ridge included: “There are a lot of nice touches in this design and dynamic elements including ceiling designs, color palette, change in flooring materials and exterior.”
