The replacement R Brown McAllister Elementary School is being built on the existing site of the original school. The current school sits on approximately 32 acres but currently only uses roughly three of them. The updated site and facility will give the students and staff a modernized 21st-century learning environment while utilizing the entire 32-acre property. The existing buildings will remain on site for future use by Cabarrus County Schools.
