Sun Valley Elementary School is the most recently designed prototype elementary school, custom designed by YCH Architects for Union County Public Schools. Consisting of 97,785 sq ft, the school is designed for 850 Pre-K through 5th Grade students with core capacity to support future classroom expansion of up to 1,000 students. The facility was designed to LEED Silver standards, with building and site design incorporating many high-performance features for storm water control, long life cycle building materials and systems, indoor air quality, energy efficiency and daylighting.
