The Robert E. and Elizabeth S. Cole Auditorium and Community Center on the Richmond Community College campus provides the area’s largest, most advanced performance venue and banquet facility for Richmond County and the surrounding communities. This 36,000 sq. ft. new fine arts center includes a 1,000 seat auditorium with a full working stage, rigging, theatrical lighting, and sound. The auditorium hosts a yearly Performing Arts Series which attracts many national, professional touring productions. The facility has also hosted musical performances from such diverse artists as the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Kellie Pickler, and Kenny Rogers, and the excellent natural acoustics within the auditorium have been heralded by many.
