North Stanly Middle was based on a prototype design for 500 students with a core capacity for future classroom expansion to serve up to 750 students. The design includes four wings, arranged around a centralized media center, which organizes students into grade-level wings, providing a more intimate academic setting. The media center contains learning spaces designed to facilitate collaboration and serves as a space to unify and promote engagement among all students.
