The UNC Charlotte Cone Center was originally constructed in the 1960s and houses the Main Street Market. The renovations included a new Subway, Panda Express, and Panda Sushi. The project also included renovations to the student commons and seating areas, including a small café with grab-and-go options. The new finishes included a variety of wall tile, luxury vinyl floor tile, and ceilings accented by specialty lighting. Floor patterns were specifically designed to accent the circulation and different gathering spaces within the Student Center.
