First Baptist Church

YCH has been working with First Baptist Church in Kannapolis, NC to design an expansion that will provide much needed office space, covered drop off and handicap accessibility to the nearly 100-year-old sanctuary. The church sits in the heart of historic downtown Kannapolis, adjacent to the new NC Research Campus. The design of the new addition has to simultaneously respond both to the historic mill town architecture of downtown and the new regency style architecture of the Research Campus.
