Boys & Girls Club of Cabarrus County
YCH Architects is currently working with the Boys & Girls Club of Cabarrus County for designs to renovate and expand their facility on Spring Street in Concord. The 70-year-old Club is one of the longest standing and storied institutions in Concord and Cabarrus County.
YCH designed the existing facility, which was completed in 2002, replacing the original 1949 building. Since then, the Club membership has grown to over 2,000 boys and girls, prompting the current need for additional space. The new expansion offers much needed additional space for arts and crafts, media, performance arts, life skills, technology center and games.
For over 15 years, YCH has been extremely privileged to have helped the Club realize its objective “to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”
